Every September, FirefighterAid recruits 200 volunteers to support our signature event, the San Diego 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb, held at the Hilton Bayfront. It’s one of the largest memorial stair climb events on the West Coast hosting 1,000 climbers and fire departments from all over the Southwest to honor the 403 fallen first responders of 9/11.
